As most dog owners will be aware, there are a number of dogs in Ireland that need to be muzzled.
Obviously as a Dog Walking company this is something that we need to be aware of, to ensure that we comply with all legislation.
According to the Control of Dogs Regulations 1998 the following breeds of dogs, or cross breeds of those dogs, should be

1. Securely muzzled.
2. “Being led by a sufficiently strong chain or leash, not exceeding two metres in length, by a person over the age of sixteen years who is capable of controlling the said dog”
- American Pit Bull Terrier
- Bull Mastiff
- Doberman Pinscher
- English Bull Terrier
- German Shepherd (Alsatian)
- Japanese Akita
- Japanese Tosa
- Rhodesian Ridgeback
- Rottweiler
- Staffordshire Bull Terrier
