Special Skill Being cute. Obviously. 🥰 I’ve perfected the head tilt, the puppy eyes and the innocent face after doing something I definitely wasn’t supposed to do. Mammy says I should put “professional charmer” on my CV.
Favourite Food Tuna and chicken. 🐟🍗 I’m not fussy… as long as it’s tuna or chicken. And if Mammy is eating it, obviously it tastes better.
Favourite Toy My toys don’t tend to last very long because I like to take them apart and investigate their internal workings. 😂 At the moment, it’s my little duck. Mammy and I even have a song about me and my duck… but it’s probably best for everyone’s reputation that the lyrics stay private. 🤣🦆
Favourite Place to Sleep Mammy’s bed. 🛏️ Where else would I sleep? I have trained her very well.
Favourite Activity Going on adventures, especially beach walks. 🏖️🐾 Sand, sea, new smells and absolutely no intention of coming home when Mammy says it’s time.
Favourite Place to Go for a Walk/Hangout The beach is definitely my happy place. 🏖️🐶I also love hanging out with Other Niamh and Alesha. I still remember my old walking buddies and get very excited when I see them!
Most Mischievous Thing You Have Ever Done There are far too many to list and Mammy says some of them are not suitable for publication.But passport chewer before nye trip to Brussels is one. Hair fascinator 2 day’s before a wedding. Chewed Fave shoes/runnners. And i have a underwear fetish sometimes leave on the lawn and mammy goes mad,coz he salon clients see them some day’s without her realising till after they left.😂 I’m very good at looking completely innocent afterwards though, so technically nobody can prove anything.
How Did You Come Into Your Owner’s Life? Teddy was a birthday surprise for Mammy three years ago. 🎁🐶 I thought he was a teddy bear… until i realised the “teddy” was actually REAL and had a wagging tail! Mammy cried, and my auntie Ruth even caught the whole thing on video. And because she thought she was getting a teddy, there was really only one name I could possibly have…Teddy. 🧸❤️
What Makes You the Most Pawtastic Pet Ever? My personality! 🐾 I’m cute, funny, loving, slightly chaotic and I genuinely believe everyone I meet has come specifically to see me. I’m also very good at making Mammy smile, even on days when she doesn’t feel like smiling. ❤️
Why Did You Decide to Enter the Nose of Tralee? Because apparently being the cutest dog in Louth wasn’t enough… I needed a title too. 😂🏆 I wanted to show everyone my personality, represent County Louth and, obviously, give my face the public recognition it deserves.
How Did You Prepare for the Contest and Get Votes? I used my secret weapons: The face. The waggy tail. The puppy eyes. And a whole lot of shameless cuteness. 😂🐶 Mammy did all the hard work sharing my pictures, asking people to vote and telling everyone about me. I mainly supervised from the sofa.
What Did You Enjoy Most About the Nose of Tralee? Meeting people, getting lots of attention and seeing how many people wanted to support me. 🐶❤️ I loved that people got to see a little bit of my personality and that Mammy and I got to share the experience together. And obviously… I enjoyed being treated like the important little celebrity I already knew I was. 😂
What Advice Would You Give to the Next Nose of Your County? Be yourself, wag your tail and enjoy every minute of it! 🐾 And remember: always look cute when the camera comes out. It works for me every time. 😂📸
How Are You Handling Your Newfound Fame? Very well, thank you. 😂 I’m taking it all in my stride. I still expect my beach walks, my tuna, my chicken and my spot on Mammy’s bed. Fame hasn’t changed me. I’m still spoiled. Just slightly more famous now. 🐶💅
If You Could Be Any Superhero, Who Would You Be? Superman! 🦸♂️🐶 I’d use my superpowers to protect Mammy, rescue every dog who needs me, find every hidden treat and defeat the biggest villain of them all… THE HOOVER. 😱
