What Pet Owners Are Saying About The Nose Of Tralee
Pet Sitters Ireland βNose of Traleeβ Competition in a word is βawesomeβ. Like-minded people celebrating the love of their pets. Ultimately, competing against each other for the βcrownβ, but supporting each other all the way. Friendships and bonds were made for life. Β An amazing experience
The Nose of Tralee competition is a lot of fun and it's wonderful to see how many people out there adore their pets. Gia came runner up in 2014 and I couldn't have been prouder or more delighted. If you love your pet, this is the competition for you
My name is Buster, Iβm 11 years young & Iβm a Staffordshire bull terrier from county down NI. I won the 2014 Nose of Tralee competition & since doing so I have become a bit of a celebrity, which I thoroughly enjoy as I am a real people pooch. I've even been on TV, the seven o'clock show invited me on their show last summer & me & mummy had an absolute ball, mingling with the show hosts & other fellow celebs. The reason I entered the competition was to try to promote staffies in a positive way, you see there's a lot of bad press about us but none of its true. Anyone that meets me falls in love with my character & they love to hear about my Nose of Tralee journey
The nose of Tralee was a great experience for us as Daisy being chosen to be the limerick nose, it gave us a great opportunity to campaign & represent Bull Breeds. We attended dog shows & store appearances & featured on 2 radio stations & appeared in local newspapers. We also had our campaign poster sponsored by a local business. It was great to see so many people vote & get behind a Pitbull when they are the most misjudged dog breed today. Out of 32 finalists, we were so thrilled to place 3rd with over 3.3k votes. Along the way, we made great friends who we shared our love for our pets & our passion for animals. We can't wait to see the nose of Tralee 2016 competition take off & get behind the new Limerick nose. I'd also like to say a massive thank you to Kate from Pet Sitters Ireland for investing her time into this fantastic competition & setting up a group where we can all stay in touch & get updates on ~ other noses
The Nose of Tralee was so much fun. Β I got to meet so many new people who all shared the same love, their pets. Β We all became good friends and continue to share our stories as well as helping each other and giving advice. Β As the winner of 2015, I think all pet lovers should enter their fur babies. Β It is definitely a fun filled competition. Β Thank you Kate for giving us this opportunity
The Nose of Tralee was such a great experience for us. My Teddy was diagnosed with Epilepsy around the time I entered him so having him picked as our county's Nose was amazing when we were going through such a difficult time. Although we didn't win the overall competition we are just lucky to have been able to take part in it because we met a lot of lovely people and new friends from all over Ireland. Teddy even has sone fans in his county and gets recognised when he's out on walks!
The Nose of Tralee is a fantastic competition celebrating all our favourite pets and is a great opportunity to share our wonderful companions with other people. It's been such a fun experience on the campaign trail and a welcome distraction during these times. All of the other contestants have been so friendly and supportive. Kate from Petsitters Ireland has done an amazing job ensuring everything has run smoothly and that we are all well supported and looked after. It's a great competition and I'd highly recommend it to any pet owner to enter your beloved furrend.
Myself and my dog Hero entered this years Nose of Tralee (2021 Waterford Nose) - the whole process is so exciting and it's so lovely to have something fun to focus on every day! Kate is such an invloved organiser and made me feel so included it's like having a group of friends that bond over their love of animals! I would definitely encourage anyone who's into animals and social media to enter!
My dog Dallas is representing Tipperary in the 2021 Nose of Tralee. Since I entered Dallas in the competition we have had nothing other than a joyous experience. In a time where the whole world is struggling as a result of covid 19 to have something so happy to focus on has been fantastic. I cannot thank the organisers of the competition enough. They have been so responsive, so kind and ready to answer any questions throughout the process no matter how ridiculous. Anyone that is considering entering their pet please go for it. You and your furry friend will have a blast! π
