What Happens When You Use A Pet Sitter?
When you know you have a trip coming up, or a night out planned, then you might also consider that you should hire a Pet Sitter. Once you do then you will probably wonder what happens next and how the process of hiring a Pet Sitter works.
You’ll be pleased to know that it is a simple process and we have great procedures in place to make sure you have the best experience possible.
Ready To Hire A Pet Sitter/Dog Walker?
Step One: Create a schedule
Determine when you need a pet sitter or a dog walker. If you are going away for two weeks holiday, you may want a pet sitter to come to care for your pets twice every day or to stay overnight. You may want to schedule your dog for daily walks during the week or on the weekend. Consider creating a schedule based on what’s best for your pet’s needs.
Step Two: Fill out your pet care profile online
Your pet’s safety and happiness are Pet Sitters Ireland’s highest priority. You will fill out your pet care profile online to let us know more about your pet, including his typical diet, exercise routine, and where he sleeps.
You can log in to your pet care profile and make changes or update it at any time.
Step Three: Organise a meet and greet
You will talk with Pet Sitters Ireland and organise a meet and greet, at no cost, so your dog walker or pet sitter can get to know you and your pet(s).
Step Four: Meet your pet sitter or dog walker
Your pet sitter or dog walker will come to your home, at a predetermined time that works best for you, to meet both you and your pet(s). The pet sitter/dog walker will discuss your pet’s specific needs and what you expect from her. For example, maybe you want your pet sitter or dog walker to give your dog new toys out of his toy box at the end of each visit. Your pet professional will do that.
Working with Pet Sitters Ireland means doing things your way. And, if you’re not happy with your assigned pet professional at the free meet and greet, let us know and we’ll arrange for you to meet another pet sitter/dog walker.
Step Five: Relax
Sit back, relax, and know that your pets are being cared for by seasoned professionals. After a scheduled dog walk or pet sitting visit, your pet professional will send you a journal update with pictures of your pet to let you know your pet is doing well and your home is secure. You’ll return home to a happy, comfortable, and tired pet.
