Picking your pets name is an important decision. I know when we got Coco it took a few days to pick the perfect name. It was only when I was watching a show on Sky TV that I came up with Coco and it seemed perfect for her.
But up to that point we had been going through lists of names thinking
- Does she look like that should be her name?
- What do you think her name was with her previous owner?
- Does anyone we know have a pet with that name? Hard when you own a pet sitting company!!
- Has anyone we know got a child with that name? And should you give your pet a name which is typically for a child?
- Is it ok to call your dog after a celebrity – even if you like the name?
Looking for pet names on the internet I came across this list of the Top 10 Dog and Cat Names
