Nose Of Tralee 2016 Press Release

The 2016 Nose of Tralee
Does Your Pet Have What It Takes To Be The Best In Ireland?

Pet Sitters Ireland, Ireland’s largest pet care provider, proudly announces the third year of their Annual Nose of Tralee Pet Competition.

We are inviting pets from all 32 counties to enter to be in with a chance to be crowned the 2016 Nose of Tralee. If you think your pet has got what it takes then we invite you to enter them today. We are looking for cats, dogs, hamsters, horses, rabbits, pigs…whatever the pet we want you to enter them.

To enter the Nose of Tralee competition, pet owners must submit a photograph of their pet, along with details of why their pet would make a good Nose of Tralee. We are looking for cute, funny, talented all around gorgeous pets! No pet is too big or small to enter.

Along with a public vote, the panel of judges will be looking for pets who show real personality and have that flare that a good Nose of Tralee needs. Judges include Comedienne Tara Flynn, Author Lorna Sixsmith and Photographer David McCauley. Our Special Guest Judge is Ginger, the 2015 Nose of Tralee.

All entries should be submitted online via before the 20th June when a public vote will commence.

Each of the 32 finalists will be crowned Nose of their county and receive a commemorative sash.

The winner, decided by public vote, will receive the following

  • Title Of 2016 Nose Of Tralee
  • A Mini Ipad and a 200 euro Pet Sitting Voucher from Pet Sitters Ireland
  • A photo shoot with David Mcauley photography for you and your pet in Dublin, including one canvas image.
  • A GPS Tracking Collar from PodTracker
  • A 6 Month Treat Subscription Box from Scooby Box (alternative will be provided for pets other than dogs)

Please submit your entry online via before the 20th June
