The annual Nose Of Tralee pet competition run by Pet Sitters Ireland is well under way with over 1200 pets from around Ireland competing to get through to the next round of the competition and be crowned the Nose of their county.
This is the 3rd year of the competition which invites pet owners to enter a photo of their pet and tell everyone why they think their pet would make a great Nose of Tralee.
“We are delighted with the number of entries this year” Said Kate McQuillan, owner of Pet Sitters Ireland.
“It’s a true testament to how much the Irish really love their pets.”
The 32 finalists will be selected at the end of July and will receive a sash to mark their title as Nose of their county. They will then compete in a public vote to take the title of Nose Of Tralee.
The winner is in for a real treat this year with a fantastic prize on offer, including a GPS pet tracker, a photo shoot, 6 months of treats, an iPad and a voucher for pet sitting.

“Tralee took the title last year so we are really looking forward to seeing which county wins the competition this year”.
The overall winner of the competition will be crowned as the Nose Of Tralee on the 22nd August.
