Introducing The Best Vet in Ireland Nominee: Hermitage Veterinary Clinic
1. Tell us the name of your vets, where you are located, and how potential customers can contact you?
Our clinic is called Hermitage Veterinary Clinic, we are located in Lucan, Co. Dublin.
2. Tell us about your facility and what services you offer?
We have a fantastic facility in Lucan. The building looks a little small but we have packed a lot in. There is free parking to the front and to the rear of the clinic. We have a waiting area with pet foods and pet accessories, consult room, operating theatre, imaging suite with digital x-ray, and ultrasound. We have a state of the art in-house laboratory with brilliant machines to get the best information on what is happening with pets.
3. Tell us about your amazing staff? Why will our pets LOVE them?
Our staff all have pets and all love pets. We have 3 vets who work only in Lucan and are 100% dedicated to pets. We also have 3 brilliant caring fully qualified veterinary nurses again who work exclusively in Hermitage Vets in Lucan. We understand that pets don’t always love coming to the vets and we do our best to put pet and owner at ease and make the visit as stress free as possible. We know how important it is to be gentle with pets who might be a little frightened.
4. What makes you different to other vets in your area?
Our emphasis is on service, which means we try to be available when you need us. Having 3 vets means we can offer appointments right through the day Monday to Friday from morning to 7:30pm in the evening. We can also offer appointments until 4:30 on Saturdays. We are the number one clinic in the area and between us our team have over 40 years of experience of dealing with pets. We get to know our patients their people well and we try to go the extra mile for them.
5. How do you make your clients’ tails wag like crazy?
Some of our pets love coming in so much they drag their owners in so they can get a treat from the nurses.
6. Do you have any fancy awards you want to tell us about?
We don’t have fancy awards – what we have come from our owners and would move you to tears sometimes – see our favourites below!
7. What is the ONE thing that your staff love most about taking care of animals?
We love seeing the new kittens and puppies and watching them grow – all with their own distinct personalities. We love taking care of the older patients and nothing pleases us more than nursing an animal back to health.
