If you are living in Dublin and love Christmas then check out the Christmas Events in Dublin that are not to be missed. There are lots of events for Children, but also events the whole family will enjoy.
Make sure you check if you need to book ahead of time and if you are unsure then contact the venue.
Most Christmas events will not be Dog Friendly, so if you need help with your four legged friend then let us know.
10 Events You Don’t Want to Miss This Christmas In Dublin
#1. Wild Lights at Dublin Zoo
Where: Dublin Zoo
When: Thursday 1st of November 2018 and runs until Sunday, 6th January 2019 from 5pm-9pm

This is reportedly a must-see event for all the family boasting an impressive light display of different animals. There are also market stalls and food to enjoy while you are there.
Tickets are available to purchase online. The cost does not include entry to see the zoo animals.
#2. Beauty and The Beast

Beauty and The Beast is a classic pantomime loved by kids and adults. It’s fun, entertaining and a great day out for all the family.
#3. Santa Dash Dublin 5 K and 10 K
Santa Dash Dublin: Run will take place on the beach on North Bull Island, starts at 12pm, on Sunday the 2nd December.

If you are feeling energetic then you can do a 5k or 10k run, including free Santa suit, custom medal and tea and snacks.

Take a magical bus tour of Dublin with Santa including a Christmas sing song and story-telling. You will be dropped off at Santa’s workshop to meet the elves and take part in the fun activities.

#6. The Helix Christmas Panto

This year’s panto is Robin Hood.
#7. Dun Laoghaire Christmas Festival
There’ll be market stalls, Santa’s Grotto and even an ice skating rink.
When: December 9th to January 8th.

#8. Christmas at Farmleigh (Phoenix Park)

For children there are Magic Shows and Puppet Shows as well as Christmas Tales from.
