How did you come into your owner’s life?: I was re-homed from my loving family in Drogheda when they had to move house.
What makes you the most pawtastic pet ever?: I so playful and yet so lazy at the same time. I love playing ball but I also love chilling on the couch watching TV.
Why did you decide to enter the Nose of Tralee? We originally entered because we knew our niece Kara would love the whole process. She is my #1 fan and BFF.
How did you prepare for the contest and get votes? We got Maggie professionally washed and groomed for the photos. It took hours to decide on the perfect photo.
What did you enjoy most about the Nose of Tralee? We loved getting people onboard the campaign train. We even got the Ceann Comhairle of Dáil Éireann Verona Murphy on board and she shared a lovely piece about Maggie on Instagram and Facebook. This was a real highlight for us!
What advice would you give to the next Nose of your County? Be prepared to take lots of photos, and prepare to get recognised on dog walks!!
How are you handling your newfound fame? We are trying to keep all 4 paws firmly on the ground, and not let it go to our head!
