Name My name is Boo.
County Sligo
Age 22 months
Breed British shorthair

Special Skill Well, I’m a cat, so I have extemely good hunting skills. No winged creatures are safe from me. Whatever find it’s way to my empire, I’ll catch it. (At least, he tries. – the owner)
Favourite food I keep sending my human servant hunting to surprise me, with whatever she returns home. (If I only knew, I wouldn’t throw away premium cat food, after his majesty just licks the juice off it. He drives me nuts sometimes. – the owner)
Favourite Toy Whatever flies, crawls or rolls. My human servant recently got a wrestling glove and I really love it. Finally I can bite her without causing any harm to her furless and sensitive skin. (However I still have bitemarks tho – the owner)

Favourite Place to Sleep Everywhere, except my cat bed and the cat tree.
Favourite Activity I haven’t fully reached adulthood yet, because I’m a BSH, I’m trying to get the most out of my remaining “childhood”, so I play, with anything at anytime. I also like to check if my human is doing everything right to ensure my comfort. (He always watches me make his “beds”, clean his litter box, wash his bowls…, so always around. – the owner)
Favourite Place to go for a Walk/Hangout I’m mostly indoor cat, and my human used to dissapear for ours and ours (Sorry, I have to work – the owner), so I like to climb on my ladder and watch the outer world, specially the birds. But when she is at home we go for a walk. She always put that stupid harness on me, I don’t like that part, but it’s ok, I can deal with that.

Most mischievous thing you have ever done I’m a good boy, but seriously. I didn’t tear apart my human’s curtain and I don’t use furnitures to sharpening my nails and I’m not galopping around in the middle of the night chasing a ball with bell in it. (Of course not – the owner). Once another human tried to give me a pill and I did everything I could to prevent this from happening. (It was literally a good 15 minutes wrestling between the Vet and Boo. I didn’t know who to worry about more, but guess who won? – the owner)
There are toys hanging from the handles. My favourite is in the kitchen, which hangs on a flexible string. I like to chase that. I catch it with my mouth and pull it and then Booooom!(Sometimes he hits things on the countertop. Once he literally shot out the coffee mug from my hand – the owner)
How did you come into your owner’s life? I was currently looking for a new home and there was this lady. She took me home and here I am. First time I was confused and a bit scared, but now I feel really good. She is taking good care of me.
What makes you the most pawtastic pet ever? My human was very sad when I met her. She had another furry friend, but he’s gone. So I did everything I could to heal her heart and I think, I’m doing a really good job. But still I have to follow her everywhere, in the case, she get lost (The word “privacy” doesn’t exist in his dictionary. – the owner) and I also make sure she never oversleeps in the morning and wakes up on time. (Yes, his majesty meowing me up 3:30 in the morning. – the owner) I’m really loveable and open hearted. I’m curious, so I always have to check the shopping bags. I try to help with my instuctions in every work my human does at home. (He is always around and he is a chatterbox. – the owner)

Why did you decide to enter the Nose of Tralee? Why? Just look at me, how beautiful and adoreable I am.
How did you prepare for the contest and get votes? Oh…that wasn’t easy sometimes. My human was always in my face with the thing she called camera, and “Boo do this, do that….” She dressed me up with ribbons and bandanas. Excuse me, but who is the boss here? Of course I didn’t obey. But then again she was sneaking around with that camera, and I said “ok human, just do it.”
My human was totally useless to get more votes, so I had to hire a Campaign Manager. (I asked my Mom to help me to get the flyers all over the town, since she can talk with people and I’m intoverted . And also she has hundreds of friends on the Fb. – the owner)
What did you enjoy most about the Nose of Tralee? As I mentioned, I didn’t really like the camera thing. But I really enjoyed that we spent even more time together. She took me new places, new view, new smells, new birds , although those huge white ones were a bit scary (They were hissing on each other with the swans. It was funny, but only for me. – the owner). People saw me and they said “what a cutie!”

What advice would you give to the next Nose of your County? I would reach out the previous Nose for tips and ideas, specially about the challanges. I would have my own Social media sites and use them actively, so by the time the competition comes, I’ll have a fan base.
How are you handling your newfound fame? I always knew I was born to be famous, so I really enjoy to be an actual celebrity.
If you could be any superhero who would you be? I’m not really into the superheroes world, but i would be a kind of healer.
Where can your fans follows you online? I try to deal with my human to have my own Fb page, or at least be a little more active on her own page.
