How did you come into your owner’s life? Bowie came into our lives when her Dad decided to get her as a surprise for her Mom and Dad’s 3 anniversary, 7 years on she is the glue that has kept our family happy every single day.
What makes you the most pawtastic pet ever? Bowie is a gentle soul, she is always there for you, whether your happy and full of excitement or whether your sad and need a fluffy cuddle she is always by our sides.
Why did you decide to enter the Nose of Tralee? Bowie was becoming a big sister to a baby brother this summer so we decided to enter her to give her all the love and attention she deserves and to make her feel extra special before the baby arrived. Fermanagh needed a little bit of Bowie magic! 🐾 Bowie wanted to represent her county, have some fun and show everyone what makes her so special. Most importantly, it was a brilliant opportunity to celebrate our four-legged friends and make some lovely memories along the way.
How did you prepare for the contest and get votes? Bowie made sure her humans were doing their job properly! 😂 We shared photos and videos, told everyone about the competition and asked friends, family and followers to get behind her. She brought the cute factor and let everyone else do the campaigning!
What did you enjoy most about the Nose of Tralee? Meeting so many other gorgeous dogs and seeing how much support there was for all the contestants. It was also amazing seeing how many people got behind Bowie and wanted to support her. It became about much more than just a competition — it was great craic and a lovely experience for everyone involved.
What advice would you give to the next Nose of your County? Be yourself, have fun and don’t be afraid to show off your personality! Get your humans organised early, take lots of gorgeous photos and most importantly, enjoy every minute of it. And remember — treats are always a good incentive! 🐶
How are you handling your newfound fame? Very well, thank you! I’ve always believed I was famous, so this is really just everyone else finally catching up. 😂 I’m taking it in my stride — lots of cuddles, treats, walks and posing for photographs. It’s a tough life being Bowie
If you could be any superhero who would you be? I’d be my own superhero because of the way I am. I have my own little personality, I’m full of love, I make people smile and I always manage to brighten up everyone’s day. I don’t think I’d need to be anyone else!
Where can your fans follows you online? You can follow Bowie and keep up with all her adventures on Instagram/TikTok through her moms social media. She loves showing off her life, her walks, her family and, of course, all the attention she deserves.
