Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee? I saw the ad on FB and just put his photo in for the fun of it, little did I know then that he would represent his county and be in the final.
How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes? I opened a FB page and Instagram page in Fudges name. I went to all local newspapers and online local papers; we got published in 4 of them. I went on Kerry Radio, went to the Rose Festival in Tralee and got photos with the Kerry Rose. We went to petmania and lots of cafes that were pet friendly. Had posters done up and engaged in all FB groups I knew that might be able to help get his name out there.
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee? All the extra activities that we would not have normally got to do.
What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County? Campaign, campaign and campaign as much as you can, I could not have done more than I did.
How Are You Handling Your New-Found Fame? Fudge is now a local celebrity and he’s loving at the attention that comes with it.
