How Did You Come Into Your Owners Life? Mama knew my previous owner and his family. They knew she loved me when she first met me and when he sadly passed away, they called her to find out if she would keep me forever and she said YES!
What Makes You The Most Pawtastic Pet Ever? I have finally allowed myself to be a dog. I didn’t know how to play with toys, I didn’t trust people, I never did zoomies and had never been to the beach. Now, my life is full of car spins, beach trips, zoomies in the garden and meeting lovely people every day, I have the best life a dog could ask for. Oh and I give lots of kisses even if you don’t want them 🙂
Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee? Mama thought I deserved a bit of pampering and fun. She keeps saying I’m a ‘special’ boy whatever that means but I think she wanted lots of other people to see just how special I am.
How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes? We told everyone! We did some practice photos in the kitchen but then the weather was so nice so Mama took me into the garden to get comfortable with the sash. Mama worked in her local bar and I used to go with her sometimes, so lots of people know me. She knows a lot of local business people and has some friends who work in newspapers so she reached out to them too. Oh, and she made me my very own Instagram page.
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee? The giggle everyone got when they found out what my sash was for when they saw me posing out and about as well as all the pets people gave me! Mama has never laughed so much!
What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County? Have fun and don’t feel silly. Don’t be afraid to use social media. Spamming with vote requests can feel a bit like begging and that people will get fed up… but most told me that my daily reminder is what helped them and they then voted every day!
