Favourite Place To Go For A Walk/Hangout: The park is my favourite place for walkies as so many good sniffs to be had
Most Mischievous Thing You Have Ever Done? When I don’t fancy going for a walk I find very good hiding spots in the house so no one can find me
How Did You Come Into Your Owners Life? My owner picked me as a puppy or she always says I picked her as when she came to meet me and all my brothers and sisters I ran towards her whereas the others stayed in their bed. She decided to get a dog to help keep her and my grandpaw company as they were going through a difficult time
What Makes You The Most Pawtastic Pet Ever? I am a very intuitive dog so I know what everyone needs. My grandpaw has Parkinsons and Dementia and I know how to be gentle and calm around him and help him feel relaxed by sitting by his feet. When my owner feels stressed or sad I cheer her up by being a great dog, giving her my paw, a flash of my teeth or being playful
Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee? I noticed it on Instagram and thought I’d be perfect as I’m a great dog who makes a difference in everyone’s life
How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes? We used our Instagram profile to get the word out there about the competition. My mama contacted local papers, radio, TV etc and we were lucky enough to feature in our local paper & on the radio. We even managed to pick up a celebrity follower (or two) which was super cool!
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee? Doing things that we wouldn’t normally have the chance to like being on the radio and sharing our story. It was so important that the message of how pets can support & help people with illnesses such as Dementia gets out there
What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County? Build a network, whichever social channels you use reach out to as many people as you can and get them to help spread the word. Enjoy every opportunity that comes your way, don’t turn anything down
How Are You Handling Your New-Found Fame? We have been spotted out and about on our walks and love getting to meet new people!
