Most Mischievous Thing You Have Ever Done? I ate Dougal’s food as well as my own and pretended Dougal ate it, not just the once either may I add!!

How Did You Come Into Your Owners Life? Well now that’s a long story, but to cut it short. I was left on the streets of Serbia with lots of broken bones, then I ended up in what you folks call a dog pound (us dogs call it prison as we’re kept behind bars, but that’s a story for another day) my foster Mum saw me there when she was volunteering and the rest is history.

What Makes You The Most Pawtastic Pet Ever! Well, as I said I was left laying on the streets with broken bones, I was in agony and I said to myself Sadie, it’s do or die time and so I decided you know what, I’m going to make it and so I took to smiling. Ever since that day, I’ve smiled my way through some pretty rough days and it worked. Guess what’s even more special? Because of my smiling, there’s lots of people out there now smiling too. I think that just about makes me the most pawtastic pet Ever!

Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee? I entered the nose of Tralee to win the photoshoot with David McAuley as I think I’m gorgeous and I would make a beautiful picture. Only kidding, although I am looking forward to the photoshoot. The real reason I entered this fabulous competition is because I wanted to spread my story. I wanted people to know that just like me, no matter how tough it gets, if we can just find a smile within us then we can get through anything. I survived some really dark days but I never once gave up. I just found my smile, even in the darkness and low and behold, with time the darkness left and the light shone bright. I just want everyone to know if it worked for me it will work for others to. So remember if you can be anything….be like me and keep smiling….even if you’re broken.

How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes? Well I got some pretty good people and dogs on board and they all spread the word for me. They had me out and about, in the papers, on social media and just about all over the place. I even got votes from as far away as Australia and Canada. They were just brilliant and I can’t
thank them enough for all their support.

What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee? Got to be honest here I really, really, really enjoyed all the attention which I’ve got to say has now gone off the scale.

What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County? Just enjoy every second as it’s just fabulous

How Are You Handling Your New-Found Fame? Well that’s a good question. The biggest problem I have is trying to balance on only two legs while signing pawtographs. But I’ll soon overcome that, as needs must, now that I’m famous.

If You Could Be Any Super Hero Who Would You Be? If I could be a superhero I’d still just be me, because I think inside us all, we have the ability to be our own superhero. Sometimes, as I well know, it takes to hit the hard times to really find it. I found my superhero when I thought everything was gone for me. The day I found her I named her smiley and she has never let me down, not even once.

Where Can Your Fans Follow You Online? I can be found on Animal Support Trust Facebook Page

What does it mean to you to be the Winner of the Nose of Tralee? To be the winner of the Nose of Tralee is like a dream come true for me. I mean, how did that even happen? One day I’m laying dying on the streets of Serbia, next thing I know I’m famous, isn’t that just the most amazing thing in the whole world. Honestly I think I’m about to burst with pure joy. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making me the happiest dog on the planet.
