What Makes You The Most Pawtastic Pet Ever! I’m smart and fun. Affectionate and silly. I make my owner really happy and we have great fun together. I keep her company and I’m so beautiful people always stop to talk to us.
Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee? Saw the post on Instagram and thought Darcy was so beautiful she would make the perfect Nose of Tralee.
How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes? We took some photos with her sash and sent the link to friends and family via social media and text. We also had a local online newspaper Cork Beo write an article on us and we’re invited to talk on Corks radio station 96fm.
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee? Being able to show off how amazing Darcy is. She is still very young and lots of people I know have not had a chance to meet her. It was great seeing the joy on people’s faces meeting her in her sash. It was also great fun trying to get a nice photo of her in her sash for the final.
What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County? Contact local papers and influences to help you get votes. Take the time to txt people you know as well as they will be likely to vote if you message them directly. Have fun and let your pet wear their sash out and about as often as possible.
