Each year we get to meet so many amazing pets that enter the annual Pet Sitters Ireland Nose of Tralee competition. And every year we select 32 amazing County Finalists who become part of an amazing group of Noses.
This year’s winner loves chicken slices, likes to chew tables, much prefers her human’s bed than her own and would love to be wonder woman. A truly deserving winner of the 2020 Nose of Tralee – Meet Teddy from Offaly.

Most Mischievous Thing You Have Ever Done. When I was a puppy I chewed my Daddys
coffee table. I didn’t think it was that bad. I personally think he just wanted a new one.
How Did You Come Into Your Owners Life? I am originally from Mullingar. My owner came
to see me when I was puppy. He couldn’t commit as I wasn’t the puppy he was meant to get.
He left without taking me but he came back a couple of hours later because he fell in love
with me and had to take me to my forever home with him.
What Makes You The Most Pawtastic Pet EVER. I think I am so pawtastic because I am
super friendly, playful & energetic.
Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee? My owner seen a post about it on
social media, he thought it would be a fun thing for us to do together. He loves making a fuss
of me.
How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes? To get ready for the contest I first
got a hair cut to make sure I was looking super cute and fluffy. We then picked out my cutest
birthday photo. We made sure all our family and friends knew we were entering the
competition so they could vote. We then set up a Facebook and Instagram account so we
could share all our activities and photos with the public.
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee? The attention! More and more people wanted to come and say hello to me. It was such a good experience, getting to know all of
the other contestants and their owners through social media and supporting and cheering each other on throughout the competition. The support we received from everyone was unbelievable.
What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County? I would say to the next
Nose of Offaly to have fun and enjoy every minute of the experience, don’t take yourself to
seriously.
How Are You Handling Your New-Found Fame? We are loving our new found fame. Everyone we meet wants a photo with us. We can’t wait to march around the village wearing the winners sash.
If you Could Be Any Super Hero Who Would You Be? Wonder woman because she stands for
truth, justice and equality and I like her costume ?
What does is mean to you to be the Winner of the Nose of Tralee? It means the world to me. We have worked very hard on our campaign these last month’s and we have enjoyed every minute of it. All of the pets in the final deserved to be there. It was an amazing experience to see all our friends and family and the people of Offaly come out to support us.
