How Did You Come Into Your Owners Life? We adopted a little puppy (Bruce) from a local rescue , sadly he was very ill with Parvo ( which was unknown to us and the rescue centre ). We are devastated the day he passed away , it turned out that Loki was born on the day Bruce died in the village I am from , at first we were reluctant to adopt another puppy as we were so upset when Bruce died , we just couldn’t resist when we saw his little face.
What Makes You The Most Pawtastic Pet EVER!
Loki is the most kind, gentle dog. He makes us smile every day. The greeting of pure love and happiness you get when you come home from work every day would warm the coldest of hearts.
Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee?
At first for a bit of fun , but it is really lovely to see how much all the entrants love their pets and want to tell everyone about them.
How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes?
We shared with family and friends and in work. We also updated social media daily and created posters with QR codes.
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee?
I loved promoting the competition in work and sharing new pictures of Loki daily to try generate votes.
What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County?
Get canvassing early , due to Covid we were reluctant to get out and about voting , hopefully next year that won’t be an issue.
How Are You Handling Your New-Found Fame?
Loki takes everything in his stride , once he can have cuddles , walks and naps he is a happy chap.
