How Did You Come Into Your Owners Life? My mamma was looking for a show type springer so went on a waiting list with the top show kennel, Wenark.
What Makes You The Most Pawtastic Pet EVER! I am very lovable, my mamma says I’m a mammas boy. I always want to be with my mamma and grandma. I am very laid back and love attention!
Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee? We said it would be a great way to make new friends and a fun competition to take part in. Since Waterford won the Rose of Tralee last year we said we would chance it for a Nose to win.
How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes? We met all our local friends and told them. They were a great support and the word spread. Everyone in our village supported us and voted. The county newspapers also supported us and WLR FM were a fantastic support.
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee? The support of the local community was just amazing and we never expected it. It was fantastic. People were interested in the competition and meeting Blaze. He also became recognized around the area with people coming over to speak to him and rub him. It is a great competition and its so lovely to see how well cared for the pets are in this.
What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County? Don’t take it too serious. Enjoy your time in the competition and try to get media support from the papers and radio.
How Are You Handling Your New-Found Fame? Blaze is loving it. He enjoys all the people coming over to talk to him and rubbing his belly. He’s very good with everyone so he’s delighted with all the attention he’s getting.
If You Could Be Any Super Hero Who Would He Be? BLAZE! Because he’s already super and the best boy.
