Special Skill: Jumping from heights, he has always been good at jumping high and long distances … often landing on or near us without any warning when we are least expecting it haha

Favourite Toy: Orange fluffy wand and the treat tower.
Favourite Place to Sleep: It changes from week to week … this week it is my daughters pram!

Favourite Place To Go For A Walk: Round the back of the house, visiting the chicken on the way to the back fields
Most Mischievous Thing You Have Ever Done. Broken into the dried food bag with his teeth and started eating it from within!
How Did You Come Into Your Owners Life? Adopted from Offaly SPCA with my brother Caesar
What Makes You The Most Pawtastic Pet EVER! He has a great personality and is just always full of energy when wanting to play. He is extremely affectionate and has beautiful eyes that makes you melt when he looks at you so you’ll end up doing anything for him!
Why Did You Decide To Enter The Nose Of Tralee? We’ve always followed it and this year I managed to enter on time so we could share our love of our cats with the rest of Ireland.
How Did You Prepare For The Contest And Get Votes? We didn’t prepare anything in particular, we just asked family and friends to vote for him as well as sharing on social media and with our local vets also.
What Did You Enjoy Most About The Nose Of Tralee? I loved hearing about everyones pets from all corners of Ireland and being part of a community that love their pets as much as we do.
What Advice Would You Give To The Next Nose Of Your County? Next time I would recommend getting your pet out there more by being more proactive talking to newspapers etc. Its not as easy taking cats out and about, but definitely with a dog to make yourself seen in the public.
How Are You Handling Your New-Found Fame? Rocket has been sleeping off his fame a lot since he’s found it very hard work keeping all his fans entertained!
If You Could Be Any Super Hero Who Would He Be? He would either be “Spider-man” because he’s great at climbing and his spider senses are always on high alert as he’s a great hunter … or he would be “the flash” so when the dinner bell rings he can get home quicker!
