This week we talk to Nicole from Carlow and find out about Gladdy and Brutus, and how using a Pet Sitters has benefited them all.

Tell us a little about your pets?

My dogs are Gladiator and Brutus. Gladiator is a 10 year old miniature schnauzer and Brutus is a 9 year old jack Russell type dog. 

 What made you decide to use a Pet Sitting Service?

Due to my work and frequent travelling I am often away from home. As such I needed someone reliable and responsible to mind my dogs, who are like children to me. 

 What do you find are the benefits to you and your pet of using a Pet Sitter?

Before I used to panic as I’d look at the clock in work and think about them locked into the house. I had my family and friends driven mad looking after them and I always worried were they actually been taken care of. Now I can relax, work, travel and be happy knowing that they are always taken care of and safe. Pet Sitters Ireland also saved Gladiators life as he fell extremely sick with pancreatitis when I was abroad. Due to their quick action of taking him to the vet they saved his life. The vet said had he arrived any later he wouldn’t have made it. I am certain that my family members would not have reacted as quickly. 

 What is the most important thing to you when you use this service?

I think giving clear instructions as to what you want and expect, and of course if your pet has any illness to leave clear instructions on this. Pet Sitters Ireland asked me all these questions anyway before I started using them. They have also rang to ask how they can improve their service which I think is wonderful! 

 Why did you choose Pet Sitters Ireland as your service provider?

I used them as I had heard what a good service they provided. They are now part of the extended family! 

What has been your experience of using Pet Sitters Ireland so far?

I have nothing but good things to say about Pet Sitters Ireland. They have provided a sterling service every single time they come. They are friendly, flexible, efficient and responsible. I am very cagey about allowing people into my home but I trust them 100% and they are actually added security for my home when I am away. I get daily updates about my pets and my home when I’m away. I couldn’t be happier with the service and I don’t know how I’d manage without them! You can see by the photos of my dogs on their website that my dogs are happy out!
